The Kitchen Of Liz Gilhooly is a family owned Irish Business established in 1994 as a small bakery and is based in Athlone, Ireland. What started out as a small scale operation soon turned into a potential commercial business opportunity as the huge demand for quality home baking became quite apparent.

In order to keep a pace with the growing demand for the products, Liz decided to expand the business. In 1998, a new commercial bakery was built with the support and encouragement of Westmeath County Enterprise Board and it is from this commercial bakery that the Kitchen of Liz Gilhooly trades today. This totally run family business employs five people in it's bakery. Such is the extent of the success of the business that the products can now be found within a 60-mile radius of Athlone covering eight counties.

The success of the business is attributed to a number of factors, particularly a strong emphasis on investment for growth over the last number of years in the following areas: quality home baking, extended premises and equipment, continued investment in quality and hygiene and customer service. The business employs a committed group of staff.

It is Liz's intention that the Kitchen of Liz Gilhooly will endeavour to retain the traditional methods and authentic taste that has proven so popular and successful to date.
